      <image:title>Discovery Flights - Area Discovery Flight</image:title>
<image:caption>If you have been thinking of becoming a pilot or simply want to fly over your home, the area discovery flight is a great option. The discovery flight also works as a great gift for an aviation enthusiast. The experience consists of around an hour and a half, with 20-30 minutes of hands on flying time with an instructor. For the Cessna 150, the flight costs $125 for one person and $200 for two people, with the passengers sharing the ground portion and having individual flight portions. For the Piper PA-28, the flight costs $150 for one person and $225 for two people, with the passengers sharing the ground portion and flight portions, with the opportunity to switch seats halfway through the flight, if desired.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Isaac Rolfsen - Certified Flight Instructor Isaac's love for aviation began in high school when he flew with a friend's grandfather, sparking his passion in the field. This inspired him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Flight Technology with a minor in Aircraft Dispatch from Lewis University, graduating in May of 2024. <image:caption>Daniel Baker - Certified Flight Instructor For as long as he can remember, Daniel has been enchanted by the magic of flight. At 13, he began hanging around the historic Oakland, CA airport, where he volunteered at an aviation museum and worked weekends for a banner towing company that flew WWII biplanes. Following graduation from high school, Daniel joined the Navy and became an aircrewman on P-3 Orion antisubmarine aircraft, eventually flying on combat missions over the Middle East. While stationed in Jacksonville, he joined the Navy flying club, beginning his flight training under veteran fighter pilots. After leaving the Navy, Daniel took a 17-year break from flying. During that time, he moved to South Bend, did full-time volunteer work with the homeless, remodeled homes, graduated from Holy Cross College, and became a traditional furniture maker–a craft he still practices when not flying. In 2023, he decided to become a flight instructor, completing his certificates and ratings at Foxtrot Flight Training, where he joined the team as a CFI in May of 2025. Daniel loves to fly anything; but his favorite planes have tailwheels and his favorite runways are grass. His approach to instruction mirrors his range of experience. In short, he wants his students to work hard, be safe, be great pilots, save money, and have lots of fun. Daniel lives in South Bend with his wife and two young children. In his spare time, he is building a small wooden biplane that he hopes to one day fly throughout the country.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Cristian Deltoro - Certified Flight Instructor Cristian grew up near Southwest Michigan Regional Airport, where his passion for aviation first took flight. After working summer jobs for his neighbors, he saved enough for a discovery flight - an experience that inspired him to pursue aviation as a lifelong career. With determination and hard work, Cristian funded his own flight training, overcoming every challenge along the way. Today as a flight instructor at Foxtrot Flight Training, he is dedicated to helping others discover that same passion. He believes a single discovery flight can change a person’s life - just as it did his.</image:caption>
